Warehouse Manager - St Louis

Position Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on, results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our two St. Louis distribution centers. This role is not just about oversight about actively working alongside your team, solving problems on the floor, and driving performance. You'll play a key role in improving operations, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development:
  • Supervise, train and motivate warehouse associates
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
• Hands-On Warehouse Operations & Inventory:
  • Actively manage shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, maintaining the SQF status, organization and space utilization
• Customer Fulfillment:
  • Oversee timely and accurate order processing and shipping
  • Troubleshoot inventory and deliver issues
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service to meet customer needs
  • Manage freight schedules and deliveries
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Lead regular safety meetings, training and inspections
  • Address hazards and non-compliance issues promptly
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Streamline workflows and implement cost-saving measures
  • Use KPIs and data to drive operational decisions
• Facility & Equipment Oversight:
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and safely operated
  • Coordinate repairs and upgrades
  • Oversee facility upkeep and supply management
• Communication & Reporting:
  • Serve as main contact for the St Louis facilities
  • Provide regular updates to leadership team on operations and staffing

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Associate or bachelor's degree (preferred).
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in warehouse management
• Prior experience supervising hourly teams in fast-paced environment

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Familiar with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of inventory, shipping and supply chain processes
