Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across our facility. If you have forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to workplace safety, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport industrial bags across the production floor.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring accurate placement and secure handling.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Move finished products to designated storage areas and prepare shipments.
• Ensure safety and quality by following handling procedures to prevent damage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by logging material movements and verifying stock levels.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies in an industrial setting.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Certification: Valid forklift operator certification is required.

Skills:

• Ability to safely handle large or bulky materials.
• Experience maneuvering forklifts in tight spaces.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment with exposure to machinery noise and dust.
• Ability to work extended hours or shifts as needed.
