United Bags, Inc. is a stable, 5th-generation family-owned company serving industrial customers nationwide. We're growing and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily office operations and help keep the business running smoothly.

What You'll Focus On (Top Priorities)

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails professionally

  • Maintain accurate customer information and activity in our ERP system

  • Support sales and internal teams with customer follow-ups and tracking

  • Process credit card payments accurately and in compliance with company procedures

  • Assist with day-to-day office operations (mail, supplies, documents)

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for calls, email, and correspondence

  • Sort, distribute, and send incoming/outgoing mail

  • Prepare business documents, reports, and presentations (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

  • Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed

  • Support online order activity and basic updates within our e-commerce platform (training provided)

  • Research potential customer leads and assist with sales tracking and follow-ups

  • Provide general administrative support to management and staff

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support office operations

What You Bring

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional demeanor with a customer service mindset

Preferred

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience

  • Experience with ERP systems, CRM tools, or e-commerce platforms

  • Experience processing payments, invoicing, order entry, or customer transactions
